Hey there,
As most of you know by now, I am currently living in Odense, Denmark.
The move here has been absolutely wonderful!
Not only am I able to live in Europe, (which has always been one of my dreams), but it has allowed me to have a lot of time to develop my business, focus on my personal and spiritual growth, spend time deepening my relationship with my boyfriend (and puppy!), experiment with cooking and last but not least increase my physical activity.
I joined the gym last week and was really excited for a couple of reasons:
While I was in spinning class yesterday (for the second time since 5 years ago, mind you!), feeling so grateful and blessed to be in Europe in a spinning class (where I had no idea what they were saying!) it brought me back to a time when the gym was the opposite of a place I felt grateful for.
A time when my inner voice was really mean to me.
A time when all of my insecurities, fears, self-judgments, preoccupations with food, bodily hate, never feeling good enough and trying to get it all right (good old perfectionism) – instantly show up the second I walked inside of those gym walls!!
If you have ever felt this way or still do feel this way then you know exactly what I am speaking about.
Everyone talks about how important it is to love yourself & your body in order to truly love your life.
But what does that actually mean?
Is it really possible?
Can anyone do it?
It all depends…
I mean, “Yes,” you absolutely can l, just understand that it’s not the exact same road and journey for everyone.
There’s not ONE magic pill to help you love yourself & your body.
(Besides, if there was Oprah would have shared it with the world by now anyways!)
But, it is possible for everyone to attain that – I promise!
So, let me ask you, “Do you love yourself? Your body? Your life?”
