I need to be real with you today…

Hey there beautiful,

 

I need to be real with you. Just because I have figured out this whole love and accept your body and food thing, doesn’t mean I have everything figured out. Far from.

Just like you, I am still human dealing with other parts of my life as I grow, change and continue to transform.

While working through some of my own pain in other areas, I felt the urge to write this down and share it with you.

Use the following for ANY area of your life you are working on shifting – whether that be your relationship to food, money, your body, your spouse, your parents, your career, your health.

Be committed to your dreams not because you should but because you CHOOSE to. There is power in choice, not in should.

Should’s are just the working of the EGO – ie. Your conditioned mind.

We only live this particular lifetime once, so what’s the point of not doing what you truly want?

I get it, it’s scary to walk into the world of the unknown, of pushing your comfort zone & of sticking around to fight for things rather than running away (I’m definitely someone who initially wants to run and hide).

If you are like that, where does that lead you? Where does that keep you stuck?

Yet, what I believe is even scarier then all of this, is walking away from the potential and possibility that things could actually unfold the way you desire, the way you dream, the way you truthfully deserve things to be.

This is what I have learned so feel free to take it or leave it…

FIRST – Identify what you want and then create an INTENTION around that.

Often times we are walking around the world with subconscious intentions that ARE ACTUALLY THE OPPOSITE of what we truly want.

Get on that and shift that thought. This is the time to be the most honest and real with yourself.

SECOND – Be committed to what you want – NO MATTER WHAT.

This doesn’t mean you are not going to fall and break-down, this doesn’t mean you are not going to want to quit and turn the other way – I CAN GUARANTEE YOU WILL FEEL ALL OF THAT. But that’s normal so keep pushing through those times and move onto number three …

THIRD – Do the internal work EVERYDAY.

In order to grow and work through all of those pieces inside of you that are actually THE REAL REASON as to why you are not getting what you are wanting from your life, you must do the internal work everyday.

This is often times challenging to do on your own if you have never entered the depths of yourself before.

Just remember, when it comes to change, to growth, to new possibilities of life – of transforming essentially – discomfort is part of the process, plain and simple.

Yet, we can begin to reframe how we label this “discomfort” from being a bad/painful experience to a beautiful blessing from the universe that we are ready to grow into someone more connected to their authentic self.
